ABOUT RAVENSBOURNE ESCAPE

When you make your booking, please ask for arrival and departure times. We are always happy to accommodate early check-ins and a later check out if possible. If there are bookings prior to, or immediately after your booking, we require sufficient time to clean the premises. In this case, we have a 2pm check-in on day of arrival and a 10am checkout on day of departure.

All of our houses are equipped with high speed WIFI. As we’re up in the high country, mobile reception can be patchy. Once you’re connected to the internet at your property, you will experience improved mobile reception. If you have trouble connecting to the internet contact Rob on 0427 989 570.

All our accommodation is completely self-contained. We supply tea, coffee, sugar and a small amount of milk. All cooking utensils, crockery, serving ware, detergents, garbage bags and toiletries (excluding toothpaste and toothbrushes) are also supplied. Most of our chalets and houses also have washing machines, dryers, irons and ironing boards.

If you want to cook during your stay, you can pick up groceries from Coles or Woolworths at Highfields. If you are coming from Brisbane or the Gold Coast, you can stop at Woolworths Fernvale on your way up. Bring warm clothing in winter (it’s generally 5 to 10 degrees cooler than Brisbane) and don’t forget your camera, so you can capture special moments and our beautiful views!

Yes! We supply high quality, professionally cleaned linen and towels for the number of guests booked for your stay. As we are an eco-conscious, self-contained accommodation, we ask that you reuse your towels where possible. If you require extra towels, please contact Rob on 0427 989 570.

If your accommodation has a log fire, firewood will be supplied. We provide a generous amount to see you through the duration of your stay. If you would like more firewood we are happy to provide, please contact Rob on 0427 989 570. This will be charged at $40 per 20 kg box of wood delivered. We also supply gas bottles for use of our on-site gas BBQs. Please do not take the gas bottles off-site, or use them for any other purpose.

Unfortunately no pets are allowed at Ravensbourne Escape. Our Body Corporate By-Laws prohibit pets due to the abundant wildlife that resides on the property and surrounding forests of Ravensbourne National Park.

The day before your date of arrival, we will forward you directions to your accommodation via text and email. This will also include your entry/exit codes and an access code for the key safe. Each time you leave the premises, we ask that you lock up your accommodation and return the key to the key safe (to prevent losing it). You can access it again (via your access code) when you return.
